She is particularly passionate about supporting individuals in crisis, including those dealing with suicidal thoughts and/or behaviours, borderline personality disorder, trauma, grief and loss, and other deeply distressing life experiences.
She draws from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), thoughtfully adapting therapy to meet your unique needs and goals.

Bev holds her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Yorkville and offers services online. She has a special interest in couples, anxiety and fertility issues. Clients who utilize Bev’s services will benefit from her wealth of life experience coupled with her knowledge of the latest evidenced-based therapeutic treatments.
Throughout the counselling process, Bev places an emphasis on building and strengthening a productive working relationship with her clients. She also collaboratively creates holistic treatment plans with clients centered on their needs and goals. These flexible road maps help the clients move from where they are now to where they want to go. During the therapeutic process she also infuses humour, empathy, acceptance, straight-forwardness, and compassion into her sessions.
Bev has a wide therapeutic breadth and is familiar with CBT, DBT, humanistic methods, motivational interviewing, and solution, compassion and trauma focused therapy interventions. Alysha Khakh is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the British Columbia College of Social Workers. She completed her Bachelor of Social Work at Thompson Rivers University and her Master of Social Work at the University of Victoria.
Alysha offers a compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally grounded approach to counselling. With experience working within a First Nations community, she brings a strong understanding of intergenerational trauma and the importance of cultural safety in her work, creating a space where clients feel respected, supported, and understood.
Her practice focuses on supporting children, youth, and adults experiencing trauma and complex trauma, grief and loss, child and youth mental health concerns, family dynamics and relational healing, and Indigenous mental health through culturally grounded care.
Alysha takes an integrative, client-centred approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness-based practices.
